'6 years ago I visited 'Segera', a 50,000 acre are of protected land owned and operated by the Zeitz foundation in Kenya. Learn more about their fantastic work in biodiversity and sustainability here:

This trip gave me not only relative isolation to begin work on what would become 'Galactic Acid', it presented the opportunity to be a fly on the wall and to live alongside a huge variety of global leaders and experts from various fields around the world. There were politicians, scientists, musicians, photographers, rangers, filmmakers, everyone you could imagine.
...Also Giraffes
I wrote a couple of songs for the new album there. 'Segera' was the first (probably why I look so young in this video). During the writing process I looked up and a giraffe was sticking it's head through the window a few feet from my face. There were also Monkeys that insisted on stealing my biscuits.
Segera was written to acknowledge that people from all walks of life don't really have that many differences, actually. Remember 2019 was a different world and it seems so innocent to look back on. It might be naive but I feel that people were more understanding of each others differences then.
This is why I'm releasing this video now. It feels like the right time. I hope that 2025 is awesome for you all.'
