Mr Noisy certainly lived up to his name (well, he wouldn't be a Mr Man otherwise, I suppose). He was noisy in everything he did, from stomping down to the village to speaking at the top of his booming voice. Fed up of their eardrums being deafened and their nerves in shreds, the village united to try and teach Mr Noisy a lesson...
Narrated by Arthur Lowe, this episode was first broadcast on September 5th 1978. This was a popular and gentle kids animation series, with an evocative theme tune and gentle narration by Dad's Army star Arthur Lowe. So when you read that the village decide to teach Mr Noisy a lesson, it's safe to assure viewers that they won't be re-enacting anything from The Wicker Man to sort him out. It's not that sort of kids show.
