Mr Tickle is a jolly fellow who has exceedingly long arms. He likes nothing more than tickling people, so one day he goes out for a walk, where he plays merry havoc on the streets.
Voiced by Arthur Lowe, this is the 3rd episode of the first series of the animated TV show and was originally broadcast on January 21st 1975. It was also the first Mr Man story ever written by author Roger Hargreaves, but today I suspect it would raise a few eyebrows among the more sceptical modern audiences with it involving a character who liked tickling people - especially the scene where he visits a school. Nowadays he'd be on a register. Thankfully I grew up in more innocent times, so this went completely over my head, so just enjoy it for the children's cartoon that it is.
