In this festive episode, the Porter family plan to go away for Xmas for a change, but find themselves spending Xmas with Bill's mother Bette as usual. Meanwhile Rona ends up spending Xmas on her own.
This was the 1st of 2point4 Children's famous Christmas episodes, and the only one that featured Clare Woodgate, who would leave the series after this, later changing her name to Georgina Cates and finding success in America. The other cast members in this are Belinda Lang, Gary Olsen, John Pickard, Julia Hills and Kim Benson, with Liz Smith making an appearance as Bill's mother Bette. The episode was broadcast on December 22nd 1992.
