The highest shallow dive was achieved by Darren Taylor (USA) who dived into the regulated depth of 30 cm (11.8 in) of water from a height of 11.05 m (36 ft 3 in) on the set of Lo Show Dei Record, in Milan, Italy, on 10 March 2011.
This marked the 13th occasion Darren has re-broken this record since he first held it in 2005. Darren has since re-broken this record, with an 11.11 m (36 ft 5.4 in) dive on 21 June 2011
