Heȟáka Sápa (Black Elk) (c. December 1863 -- August 17 or August 19, 1950)was a famous Wičháša Wakȟáŋ (Medicine Man or Holy Man) of the Oglala Lakota (Sioux). He was Heyoka and a second cousin of Crazy Horse. Nicholas Black Elk's "Prayer of the Sacred C'nunpa" comes from the book "Black Elk Speaks", published in 1932. The music is a mix of different versions of Michael Cretu's "Return To Innoncence" (Enigma Project) Difang & Igay Duana were the aboriginal voices featured in Cretu's composition and a full rendering of the original recording of their voices has been mixed into this soundtrack as this video is as much or more a tribute to Difang and Igay Duana as it is to Nicholas Black Elk and Michael Cretu.
