DFW Europe’s first innovation, the cremulator, was designed in the early 1990’s. This product was developed in order to optimise working conditions for processing ash remains. It is still an innovative product with hundreds of units currently in use world wide.
After cremation and ash cooling, further ash-processing is carried out in the cremulator. This is where the non-ferrous and ferrous particles are separated into two drawers, where they remain separate from the ash.
The cremulator grinds the remaining ash into a powder that can be automatically deposited into any type of chosen urn. The entire process lasts no longer than 90 seconds.
DFW’s cremulator makes it possible for operators to work safely and hygienically in a substantially dust-free environment. The ash hopper of the cremulator can be adjusted to fit any type of ash pan. The cremulator improves operator efficiency, is cost effective and has a low maintenance requirement.
