Iulia Conicov: "💣🎂July 20 - International Cake Day 🍰🤔💣 🎯Unlike the majority of informal food holidays that were created in the United States, International Cake Day is a Russian invention. It was founded by the Kingdom of Love, an international non-commercial project that specializes in global cultural, humanitarian and peacemaking initiatives. 📖The first International Cake Day was celebrated on July 20, 2011 in nine countries (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Israel, and the United States). The celebration was launched under the motto “I Cake You”. According to the International Cake Day team, the cake serves as a symbol of friendship, peace and mutual understanding between countries and nations. 🍰Along with the motto, each International Cake Day has had its own theme selected by the organizing committee. Past themes have included Space, Planet of Love, Parade of the Planets, Visiting the Fairy Tale, Journey Through Time, and Garden of Love. The participating countries host various events and activities connected to the theme. 🤔🔮How to celebrate International Cake Day? There are plenty of ways, all you have to do is pick one or several.
